Welcome to the BLEU-BLEU FAQ page, where we attempt to answer the important questions you might have, whether it be about BLEU-BLEU, how and what we use to make our clothes, or how to properly care for your clothes.
If you don't find the answer to your question, please contact us for further support.
BLEU-BLEU is committed to using only premium denim and the highest quality materials. All items are sourced within the United States and 100% of our clothing is manufactured, washed, and hand-finished in Los Angeles, California.
Second, we take our time. 100% of our jeans are inspected for quality control, especially the seams, hem, button, zipper and pockets - essentially each part that will get the most use and wear. And for styles that require, we detail and finish each pair by hand. This also makes each pair unique.
Last, and certainly not least, we believe there is no reason to sacrifice look and shape for comfort and function. BLEU-BLEU jeans uniquely give you both. Our design features a custom technology and method of construction that is guaranteed to give you a perfect fit, accentuate your curves, not restrict movement, and are comfortable for all-day wear. In short, our jeans are not only high end, they are built to do these four very important things:
100% of BLEU-BLEU clothing is manufactured, washed, and hand-finished in Los Angeles, California USA. We never offshore our manufacturing, nor do we acquire denim or materials from outside the US.
From the denim we source, the materials we use, to the washing and finishing process, we only use the highest quality components and take extra care and time at every step of the manufacturing process –– The art of designing and making jeans should never be rushed!
To be more specific, here is a breakdown of the components we use on each of our jeans.
We acquire all of our denim from textile companies that are owned and operated in the United States.
Not at this time, but may release some in the future. It's important to note that Selvedge denim is not optimal for stretch and contouring, and is not typical for women's jeans.
We only use premium denim, and preshrink and prewash all of our material. We also use the highest quality thread and yarn, making our seams and hems stronger than typical designer jeans.
If you properly maintain your BLEU-BLEU clothes, they should look better as they age overtime.
If you had a little too much fun last night and now need to care for your jeans, we recommend you do the following:
Important: Please see the label inside the jeans for further care and washing instructions.
Not at this time, but we hope to offer shipping to select countries by early 2018.
Our signature design features a custom technology and method of construction that is guaranteed to give you a perfect fit, accentuate your curves, not restrict movement, and are comfortable for all-day wear.
Our jeans are not only high end, they are built to do these four very important things:
For example, when you sit or bend, the back of the jeans will not slide down or create a gap, revealing more than you want. This is true in both our mid-rise and high waisted jean.
You will find that our jeans fit and feel superior to other brands in the same price range. The inside of our denim is soft and smooth, yet provides proper contouring and lifting around the waist, hips and backside.
The stitching is reinforced by the high quality threading and yarn we use, allowing for full range of movement in the leg and knee while you bend and sit.
The waistband and rise are true-to-size. If you are in-between sizes or uncertain, we recommend you size down as our jeans have plenty of stretch and recovery, will still be comfortable for all-day wear (no pinching or squeezing in the waist or thigh), and while minimize baggy or saggy knees.
All of our premium denim jeans and designer pieces are made from high-quality materials made to stretch and contour to your body. If you are in-between sizes, we recommend you size down for the best look and fit.
Please use these size charts to help determine your size. Because sizing and cut will vary between brands, please use the charts as a general guide to compare the various size scales.
Sizes listed are US, unless otherwise noted.
For bust size measure around your chest at the fullest point of your bra cup. Make sure to go under your arms, not around them!
Measure around the smallest part of your waistline with one finger between your body and the measuring tape.
Stand with your heels together, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Find a pair of pants that fit you well and measure from the crotch seam to the opening at the bottom of the pant leg. Round the number to the nearest 1/2" to get your inseam length.
